Get ready for Movember

November has arrived, which for us at SI Labs means being busy with last minute projects, early christmas preparations, and the attempt to fight the ever shorter days with good lighning, heating and strong coffee.

But November also means Movember – a cause to be excited about!

Movember is a non-profit organisation aiming at improving men's health by raising awareness and collecting donations for prostate cancer. Since its foundation in 2003 in Australia, Movember has raised $559 million worldwide.

A few months ago, we did a small research project on men and healthcare which made us appreciate the importance of this global initiative even more. A day’s worth of desk research brought to light vast and worrying differences in health awareness between men and women.

Hence, we want to use this month to speak about men’s health on our blog and social media but also with our fathers, brothers, uncles, partners and friends! Let us all become Mo Bros and Mo Sistas – with or without moustache.
