Speaking about Healthcare Makes a Difference

Have you wondered whether speaking about men's health really helps to make a difference in a person's life? With Movember coming to a close, we want to share one last insight from our online survey, which indicates that is does have an impact.

47% of the male participants agreed or rather agreed with the statement that pressure from outside would make them go to the doctor more often. Now, this "pressure" could take on various forms. Many health insurances for example incentivise preventive check-ups with a refund of the health insurance rate. The Techniker Krankenkasse even offers an email/sms service that reminds you of your check ups. However, encouragement and support from friends and family is usually much more persuasive than any app or digital reminder.

So break the taboo and keep talking – also during the other months of the year.
