Parking by App for Volkswagen
For Volkswagen, we developed and operated a service for cashless booking of parking tickets with a start/stop system as a digital parking provider.
The Challenge
Paying parking fees with cash or parking discs is cumbersome and time-consuming. Volkswagen was looking for a digital solution that would make parking simpler and more flexible for their customers.
Our Solution
We developed a fully digital parking service:
- Cashless booking of parking tickets via app
- Start/stop system - only pay for what you park
- Automatic extension when needed
- Integration into the Volkswagen ecosystem
The Result
The service was successfully launched in Berlin and operated by us as a digital parking provider. For the first time, users could pay by the minute for their actual parking time.
